Plastic Coil Binding

Coil Binding uses a plastic coil loop that is inserted into a pre-punched hole and crimped on both ends to hold the pages together. Coil is popular because it is inexpensive and can be produced quickly. Pages can be opened and lay flat, which is another benefit over saddle stitching.
