The major selling points of a creating a successful purl campaign are not just in higher response rates. Additional benefits are the information gathered from other respondents, which we call "soft leads."

Soft leads
Soft leads are respondents that provided information complied from their answers provided. While they may not be immediate opportunities, they often result in future sales. Industry studies have shown that a purl might receive as many as seven soft leads for every hard lead provided. This information you cannot get with traditional direct mail.

We recommend offering a soft lead incentive, such as a white paper, if respondents are interested, but not ready to meet with a sales person.
